Montessori pedagogy has been my compass for the past 30 years, first while I was a 3-6 guide, then while I was an Elementary teacher. In 2004 I was asked to consider doing the trainer of trainers program, but the application lay in my drawer for several years as I struggled to save enough to commit the time and effort to a training that I knew would help Montessori reach more children.
In 2007, with the help of the MM75 fund and the opening of training courses in London and India, I was able to start the trainer of trainers course and finish in a timely fashion. I am fortunate now to be able to train teachers in my adopted country Norway and other places around the world. Becoming a trainer of teachers has deepened my understanding and appreciation for Montessori. The children deserve it, and more teachers are needed. I am happy now to dedicate myself to helping adults share this gift with the children. Thank you to the MM75 fund and AMI.
